I had not yet joined HH at the time of his first start...

…but I definitely remember the first start. So highly touted coming in…I recall he cruised through the 1st inning, and then the wheels came off in the next 2 innings. He could barely get a pitch over the plate, and he really looked awe-struck…in others words, entirely human.

Physioc interviewed him before the game yesterday (radio) and asked him about this first effort. He said that, “…everything seemed to be moving too fast…”… that he “couldn’t slow things down”.
That is a part of why I was so pleased to see him so much more composed last evening.

It would be great to hear that interview again with Phyz. He was so…normal?

I heard that interview driving to the stadium

& being so pleased about his humility, but also his confidence.
I feel like he would’ve grown into an important member of the clubhouse.

I remember that game

I made it a point to be home to follow that game so I can see how Adenhart was progressing. I cant believe we will never again see him pitch…

In a "Field of Dreams" he will pitch again.

And he will look as confident and determined and young and as he did last night. And his Mom and Dad and thousands of other will be there too. Out in the middle of some crazy cornfield.
He’ll pitch again.
