Tex interview... I just can't hate him after this.
"I sat and cried at my locker after that last game in Boston because I knew that was a special group, I knew how good a chance we had, and we let it slip away," Teixeira said.

read that too
it’s hard to hate the guy… it really is.
he seems really nice and genuine, and while i can hate his wife and lack of backbone, i can’t argue with some of the things he says.
i think they only way he would’ve stayed is if we outbid the Yanks (which would’ve been a mistake, anyway).
Thank you, Nick Adenhart. You will always be remembered. #34
Seriously. A guy with Boras as his adviser darned well knows what he’s supposed to say.
Saving countless runs with my defense.

no reason to really anymore
160/8 years. He had his big payday, no need to suck up anymore
That'll only happen if that one prospect is the second coming of Christ and redemption for mankind can only be achieved by smacking many balls out of the yard.

"But your wife and kids being happy is more important than your personal desires."
Oh please, give me break.
#34 Nick Adenhart always an Angel
not saying that you wife and kids happiness isn't more important then your desires
I just don’t buy the whole “I only went were Yoko I mean Leah wanted me to.”
Lets be honest Mark. You wanted to be a Yankee all along and used the Angels to drive up the price.
#34 Nick Adenhart always an Angel
Let's see...
Nope! Still hate him.
Furthermore, wives and children are overrated.
Apologies in advance.

and I call BS on that one
it’s well known Mattingly was his hero and he’s always wanted to play for the Yankees
gimme a break
RIP Nick
Should have never left the Ducks
That Avalance move sure didn’t work out. 1 good year in Nashville and 1 good year in St. Louis, but still not the same since he left the Ducks. Does he make the HOF though?
RIP Nick Adenhart

Boo Friggin Hoo
Tex was crying because he just blew a chance to win a World Series with 2 different teams. He knew he was going to the east coast for the most cash.
Nothing like watching him struggle to earn his cash with the Yanks so far.
When I'm not at the stadium, I'd rather be watching my Halos back in Costa Rica!
Don't count on it lasting
he’s always been a slow starter, this is just no different.

Haha
Nope, still hate him. He had a choice and he chose the enemy. I say, to hell with him. He should rightfully be booed out of Angel stadium July 10-12 and September 21-23.
most of you sound like a bunch of whiny jilted ex-lovers........

hit post too soon........
Seriously…….some of you on here gave him the nickname “U-haul” knowing full well he was probably only going to be here that half of season…….and then you get pissed off because he did exactly what you thought he was going to do?
Makes no sense.
