Could be a trick question ...
I’m thinking Joe Madden – ’06 Devil Rays (now the Rays) … .377 win % …
Didn’t he catch for the Angels in the minor leagues?

Buck Rogers managing the Expos in 1991. Record was 71-90.

The key not rules out Maddon is a team "...no longer in existence".
It could also be Buck Rogers in ’93 managing the “California” Angels…another team “technically” no longer in existence.

Was this your final lifeline?
“Fanpost at halos heaven” was your last one since “phone a friend” “50-50” and “ask the audience” had been used up?
Make some noise already people. Come on!
