Hard to ask for more than a couple groundballs in that situation. Dondo and Oliver couldn’t hold it down though.

I’m saying in that particular situation, Oliver did pretty much the opposite of what we wanted.

funny thing is that Oliver does better against right handers but Soth uses him in spot
situations against lefties.

Mathis kept having Arredondo throw the splitter before 2 strikes, the first time he threw it he got a swing and a miss but then they adjust to it. But guess that’s more on Arredondo needing more than 2 pitches.
