S-Rod doing MUCH better recently
Putting up a 1400+ OPS in May. Also notice how in May he is controlling the strikezone much better with 8 BB's to only 12 K's.
Also S-Rod is probably one of the most fundamentally sound guys the Angels have in their system and plays great D with his father being a coach.
Personally this would be my lineup.
Figgins RF
Abreu DH
Torii CF
Morales 1B
Naps C
Rivera LF
Wood 3B
Aybar SS
S-Rod 2B

I'm not sold on Morales
He is starting to compete with Q for goofiest swing.
I am The Iron Man.

My 2010 Line Up.
Assuming we don’t re-sign Vlad, Figgins, and Abreu and can trade away either Aybar or Willits.
RF Matthews
2B Kendrick
CF Hunter
DH Rivera
1B Napoli*
LF Morales
3B Wood
SS Rodriguez
C Mathis
*I figure with Conger, Buddie, and Wilson, Napoli’s bat will keep him in the line up. And I think he’d be fairly capable to pick up 1st. Moving Morales to LF, puts younger legs in the Outfield. Allowing Juan to pick up a few starts in Left and Right when one of the outfields needs a day off. Moving Wood to 3B gives S-Rod a spot at SS.

i like where you're going
but isn’t less demanding on Morales to play RF?

Perhaps.
But I kind of thought Matthews had the better cannon.
