IF the Ninja did not make an offer for Peavy since the season began.....
It is a very large missed opportunity
im over peavy
look at his home/away splits. Outside of Petco Park, hes just a #2 starter

We have so many under-30 Cy Young award winners on the roster. What was I thinking…..

peavy would be wise to use his no-trade clause
1. who would want to move from san diego to chicago?
2. the white sox are OLD and wont be a title contender for the next 4 years
3. windy city + flyball pitcher = nobody will like you in chicago
RIP Nick Adenhart
Then again
there would be that whole icky awkwardness with Towers if Peavy vetos the deal. I can just see them each coming down the hall, trying not to make eye contact, then mumbling “Hm, uh, hey Jake…” … “Uh, how-howdy, Kevin…”
Like so awkward!
RIP Nick Adenhart, #34
haha well he knows he's gonna get dealt
why not wait for one of the teams he ok with? Apparently his agent said theres 3 or 4 teams that are aware peavy will accept the trade immediately if they make the package. Its only may, what if the braves, cubs or dodgers make competitive offers in june or july? Thats what i would do if im peavy. his family lives in san diego, why leave unless its somewhere you WANT to be?
RIP Nick Adenhart

Yep
He’s not afraid to take a risk to improve his roster.
