Patience is a Virtue
Words once spoken to me, “patience is a virtue.” It is a motto I have lived by since my wee young days. The big league season is a whopping 162 games. So I thought I would ask the wonderful readers of HH to see what they think. I know it’s a long season and we are a quarter of the way through it. So I want to know, when does Wood come up to start playing? Do you wait until the all star break? 3 weeks before the playoffs? For Aybar to start playing like he is supposed to so you can trade him?
I don’t know anymore. I trust the team because they have put a good team together for me to cheer for. It always seems to work out, but I am questioning this one. How many failed bunts, 3 – 0 popups, and just non-clutch AB’s from Aybar do we need so we can bring Wood up?
The only place I can see Wood playing this year is SS. With Howie coming around and really starting to swing the bat well I don’t think you can send him away. I really want to see how Howie plays for a whole season. So come on front office, lets do something here. One bad week is ok. Two is a slump. Over a month and you need to start making some adjustments. For how good the teams in So Cal are they really don’t make adjustments well. I don’t think I am the only one who thinks this way. So lets hear it HH what do you think?

Yeah sounds simple
the better guy should play. The guy that you gives your chances to win a game should at least get a SHOT!!

and his stats support it.
don’t give me the “unproven” BS. how the eff do you think Aybar got “proven” (to be bad)??? he got freaking playing time! every day playing time! that’s the only way you’re going to find out just how good a player is.
starting Wood over Aybar right now would not be a step down or risking that much.
Thank you, Nick Adenhart. You will always be remembered. #34

Same can be said about the second baseman
We can dump on Howie because he sucks right now and bring Sean Rodriguez up.
~ Can Brandon play second base? ~
Or is Kendry perhaps the one who needs to sit?
I'm curious
Is the vote when should the Angels bring up Wood? Or when will the Angels bring up Wood? Those are two different questions with two different answers.

There are a couple of problems with the poll;
1)" End of July" and “after the trade deadline” are essentially the same date.
2) You needed an option to vote for 9/1/09…the date rosters can be expanded.
The date rosters can be expanded (9/1) would be my vote (unless the Bees make the playoffs and they keep him in SLC for that purpose).
Not the smartest move, but Scioscia apparently does not see the need for Wood in the line-up, much to the bewilderment of most HHer’s.
