Pics from Elsinore & 80's CONCERT INFO (edited)
Sorry, camera sucks (it's on the birthday request list to get a better one!).
Now, you know how into analyzing I am, so here's my observations:
Escobar came out strong. First 4 pitches just "there" and strike, strike, strike, strike. He seemed to get a little tired later in the game and wasn't throwing as strong. I don't know what his prior history is, so I can't compare it to 'pre-injury'. My bottom line: he looked good but not quite 100% but really close.
Vladi seemed a little off. I don't know if it was the indignity of getting struck out by a 'youngin' or what. He seemed like Vladi but in slower motion. When he pushed for second base on a hit, the whole crowd audibly gasped but it was a standing double.
He only had 3 at bats (I think)..then he just seemed to disappear. Escobar got a standing O on his exit and tipped his cap to the crowd, which got the crowd roaring even louder.
let me work on the photo link
BTW, if any of you are 80's music lovers, July 11th: Berlin, Gene loves Jezebel and Flock of Seagulls!! Tix range from $20 to $100

Nice pics. I only use my camera phone nowadays. So to me these were fantastic.
Minor Leagues let you get right on top of the action.

'bug..
Thanks for posting these! Brought back some memories of eating a pre-game meal at Tom’s Place, then catching a game at Elsinore Stadium.
The Navy pre-game show looked pretty exciting…and Vlad? He will be OK. He’s probably not feeling adequately “challenged”. Also happy to hear “MYSPACECOBAR” looked good.
These pics are actually pretty good…no worse that the ones I posted from spring training. Thanks again!!!

My memory of that stadium was Jered Weaver’s pro debut Quakes @ Storm. Met Jered’s mom and got some good photos of Lil Weave making his first warm-ups, first time heading to the mound, first pitch, etc. I was even interviewed by that Cox 3 Angels TV show on my way into the stadium. My interview did not make it onto the final broadcast, though.

I was just getting frustrated
because it doesn’t have enough zoom and I have to wait several seconds before I can take another pic (card is not a fast one)

Are the Storm still wearing those kickass hats with the eyes?
This bullpen collapses faster than the Austro-Hungarian Empire
