Can someone explain something to me?
Bottom of the eighth inning, Loney singles (that was no double) down the left-field line, Rivera guns the ball to second base and Howie decides to not even make a tag. Does he not even know what’s going on? Did it ever occur to him to look to see if the runner was coming while the throw was on its way?
He is a real bonehead.

i was under the impression
that that argument was about starting pitching. wasn’t sure if they took bullpen into account.

How is it that Aybar has the worst game of his pro career and he’s right out there starting the next day. Wood has nice games and then he’s ridden the bench for a week.
