I was driving and thinking about the radio show I was listening to this morning, (the sports lodge). I started to think…. Hmmm…. Maybe we should all go and VOTE FOR Manny.
Wait! Before you juge that thought, think about it this way, maybe if he gets voted in by the fans, Butt Sealick might actually wake up to the fact that it totally sucks balls!!!!! I mean seriously look at the guys voted in AGAIN this year. Some people are just stupid. Just let the coaches and players vote, then you will get the real All-Stars. We just see our players everyday. How can we vote for the whole league?
What do you guys think? I know we all hate the way this thing is done. Just curious.

He is so not an all-star. There is just too much Griffey nostalgia. But he’s done. You make a good point though. I am sick of seeing Jeter voted every year even though he’s not the best shortstop of most particular years. If we had an all-star caliber shortstop, he would never be voted in while Jeter is playing. Too many people in New York let alone Yankee lovers other places. Sucks.

The irony...
…is that when the fans DO get it right (which is quite often), all these “oh boy i am superior to the average fan and therefore none of us should ever have the vote” types basically have to eat shit but never would publicly admit that their precious fascism against “fans other than themselves” is an abortion of logic, common sense and good governance.

That vote was closed long ago. Bonds owns that title.
Brandon Wood is slated for 2010, and no amount of whining by us is gonna change that. So evolve, already!
