ONION: Slashed Ticket Prices Allow Lesser Nobility To Attend Yankees Games
NEW YORK—Dukes, barons, viscounts, and earls are applauding the Yankees' recent decision to cut prices on dugout and foul-line field-level seats in half, from as much as $2,500 per game down to an amount the minor houses consider far more reasonable
I'd like to know, with this economy, are the Yankees really that oblivious? OK, kind of a rhetorical question there. We all know the answer is a resounding "hell yes"

it pains me to link a Boston fan site
but here’s a list of the problems so far with the new stadium:

well they can and will charge
exactly what the “fans” are willing to pay. and yes they are that oblivious to the economic crises.

i went to it last week
was not impressed at all. And yes, the entire lower bowl between 3rd and 1st base was empty.
food is very bland and boring yet grossly overpriced. All the merch is overpriced and overall it was a very forgettable ballpark.

it's pathetic how empty those seats make the stadium look!

Maybe they can join with the A's to get a group discount.
Let's do this for Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart, and Henry Pearson.
