I would feel much more comfortable if we had a 2 or 3 run lead

I think Palmer realizes this is his chance to really break out in the Majors and that being said, he has more to lose… Loux probably has a place in our bullpen whereas Palmer is definitely heading down to AAA if he doesn’t stay

Greatest pitching in YEARS!!!!
Only got to see the tail end of this one- almost as good as Ryan vs. Guidry back in the late 70’s, we won that one 1-0 too. Saunders was incredible, but Figgy made killer plays at third to save the inning. Looks to me like we are over April and everybody’s head is back in working order, except maybe Speier. Great game.
