Good Angels books out there?
i was reading Rev's post about Albie Pearson (thanks by the way Rev.) It reminded me of reading the book "Once They Were Angels" by Rob Goldman. Are there any other good books out there like that one that covers the Angels?
I wasn't alive back in those days so reading the book helped bring that era to me. I want to read about the classic, good old days. It seems like every book that comes out these days is about rioids or there abouts. Well just trying to get to 300 with this so..

While many questions
have come up about the truth or lack thereof of some of the accounts in this book, Odd Man Out, from Matt McCarthy is a good book that involves a lot of the guys who currently play for the angels.
I'm very skeptical of that book
dozens of people have disputed his stories

I hear that the Bible is pretty popular.
And it has lots of stuff about the Angels. Not to mention LOTS and LOTS of stuff about prayers and miracles and overcoming evil and massive turnarounds.
Brandon Wood is slated for 2010, and no amount of whining by us is gonna change that. So evolve, already!

Some don't like the ending.
"I see great things in baseball. It's our game, the American game. It will repair our losses and be a blessing to us."
If there's anything about laying off outside breaking balls in the dirt...
…let’s forward those verses to HK.
To paraphrase Isaiah 10:15...
As if a SRod were to wield him who lifts it up, or a franchise brandish him who is not Brandon Wood!

hahaha
"Man, this is baseball. You gotta stop thinking. Just have fun. I mean, if you were having fun you would've caught that ball."
Luke 3:5
Every valley shall be filled, And every mountain and hill shall be brought low; And the crooked shall become straight, And the rough ways smooth
So not only can Jesus help you hit the curveball and slider, but He can fix that clanking sound you hear with each grounder!
Witty .sig goes here.
Overcoming evil?
I don’t recall reading about the Yankees in the Bible.
Keep those hammies limber, boys.

He was signing at an ST game
3/16 vs. OAK, I think. If I’d know, I’d have brought my copy with me to ST.
