I wonder if Escobar goes on the DL they will bring up another bat instead of a pitcher.

My money says Howie’s in AAA for the rest of the month, TOPS, then he’s back up in late June/early July and mashing. Meanwhile, Maicer Izturis tears it up at second base with more than several more performances like tonight as Sean Rodriguez backs him up, and then Mighty Maicer goes down with a hammy injury—happens at least once a year for him, doesn’t it?—just in time for Howie to come back up and have it all figured out.

Sound about right? ;-D

I like Howie, but he’s lost at the plate. Maybe this will be the shock it takes to straighten out his head.
