PrintHopefully the Soth has realized he needs to add some punch and excitement to the lineup, S-Rod has been recalled from SLC for tonights game. S-Rod has 21 HRs, yes in AAA, but still adds excitement. My guess is he won't play tonight because of the love affair of having singles hitters throughout our infield, but hopefully Soth wakes up and pencils him in for tomorrow's game. Yes all outfield....and SS and 2B and Im sure he would do fine at 3B

Two things
first, the 4-4 night had little or nothing to do with the announcement. Nothing would have changed had ’Ztu gone 0-4.
Second, though, there’s a reason the Soth is a big league manager and I’m not. I’ll trust him to make the right lineup decisions. And I have no problem with the hot hand theory. I was just being snarky.
Izzy will play his way out of the job
I don’t see this as another Wood situation. Where Figgy and Aybar
were blocking him. Despite what we’ve read.

I agree...
You’ve got to play Maicer while he’s hot. Even if it means that S-Rod rides the bench. But that doesn’t mean he can’t spell Hunter or Rivera if Maicer and Aybar are in. Hopefully we’ll get to see a few line-ups that feature S-Rod in the infield.
