30-30 man?
Just noticed that Torii Hunter is on pace for .319 with 44 HR, 30 steals, 140 RBI and 121 runs scored, not to mention the incredible defense and leadership. If this isn't an MVP-calibre season I don't know what is ...
Please refresh my jagged memory though, HHers ... I know we've had 2 AL MVPs in our history, but have we ever had a 30 HR-30 steals man? ... I don't think so.

wouldn't shock me if Torii did it
too bad his performance is evidently not All-Star votes worthy.
seems to me we had a 30-30 guy in 2000….could be wrong. probably am.
Sean The Baptist shall lead the way
he'll get the nod from the players or managers I would think
Weaver could be an all-star too.

Dang! ... Our only 30-30 guy is named Bonds ...
… Ok, it’s Barry’s daddy, but how happy would we all be if Torii did it.

I would say if he did that, his defense and the fact that Vlad has not put up great numbers so far, if the team makes it,then he should be a candidate..
BTW- The Rangers will be out of first by the All -Star break…
Everyone should stop a second and cherish the best year in Hunter's career.
This is most likely the best year of this contract, by far.
I brought sexy back, but they only gave me store credit....
Supposedly
Hunter’s THREE homerun game didn’t I repeat DIDN’T make it onto ESPN baseball tonight! And you think he is going to win the MVP or get voted into the all-star game as a starter. Torrii Hunter is the MVP so far for me, but the East Coast would never allow that.
First we had a Salmon and now we have a Trout, let's see the same results.
MLB Network gave him the love
Once again proving its superiority
Sean The Baptist shall lead the way
I don't watch ESPN anymore
They can move their offices to Hawaii for all I care. Their coverage of West Coast teams is pathetic. MLB Network is the only way to go. Sorry for those of you who don’t have it, but I toss away the remote once I land of that channel.

It will take some time
but since ESPN is moving West and new writers will eventually replace the 900 ones that were born and raised in the asscrack of the Atlantic, we will see a shift.
MLBN is good enough for now, but ESPN’s intolerable one-sided coverage has been addressed and the first step has been taken to even things out.
I brought sexy back, but they only gave me store credit....
would be nice to see them hire some Cali talent
especially non-ex-jock talent
Sean The Baptist shall lead the way
I did watch both SC and baseball tonight that night.
I did see the 3 HR game, that however was the only highlight from the game.

I saw it on BT
It was the second game they covered…
I was watching the BT that night, and it went…
HOWEVER, for some reason he didn’t get on Touch ’Em All segment.
But, when they showed it in the beginning, EY put him in the Souveneir City HOF…It was pretty funny
34 - N.J.A - R.I.P
Saw that ... he hit the wall HARD
Hope I haven’t jinxed Torii with this post. Please delete Rev!!!

I can't help but tell you this
Every time I log on and see your post I think “Hurdy Gurdy Man.” Must be some weird mental 60’s thing I have. Just the 30 30 man thing and ….. ah never mind.
Angel Pitching (Adenhart), Angel Defense - get past that.
This is crying out for a full-on parody. Get to it, Halosphere!

Hi there, in the future could you please try to avoid jinxing the Angels’ best player? Thanks!

Hey man, take back your open letter to Chone Figgins post on OCR then
I think I’m off the hook, as Torii ran into the wall BEFORE I made the post. No curse! But I was a little bit worried there for a while. Whew! …
