two guys who could make sense are...
luis ayala and matt guerrier. ayala will be a free agent (like quinlan) after this season and guerrier will be in his last year of arbitration after this season. for guerrier we would probably have throw-in a low-md level prospect or a player to be name later (ptbnl).

I like Wood as much as the next guy, but ...
Q is our main backup at 1B. Who else can play there??
Wood can play 3B and the inner IF (where we have a ton of players, Aybar, Izzy, SRod, Howie), but not 1B.

I'd love to see Quinlan net us some arms...
But seriously where would they slat him? What value could he bring to them?
The Q can be serviceable at the corners. But you aren’t going to sit Morneau or Creede. And I don’t think Q can take playing time away from Cuddyer or Span. So where does he play? What role would he have?
Q can’t have a lot of value for the Twins, which would net us very little in a trade. Unless we package him with Aybar.

See, Quinlan has the exclusive lease of the same compromising pictures of Scoscia that Josh Paul had….there is no other logical reason for those 2 having locks on a job..
Maybe those pics aren’t exclusive for Q anymore….I can easily see how Mathis, Aybar, Vladdy and Fuentes could have copies..
