another seemingly pointless signing by the halos
although not much to lose with a minor league contract

I said the same thing when they signed Matt Palmer
I love this team.

Had more to do with Arkansas' troubles scoring runs
than depth for the MLB level. Little Rock’s a big minor league market, and putting a losing team there is bad business. With Conger not hitting for much power (though more importantly, he’s doing well behind the plate), Bourjos and Mount on the DL, and Trumbo not hitting like everyone thought he would, they desperately needed some firepower. Majewski joins of/dh Branden Florence and dh/3b/1b Jay Caligiuri, both recent signings for the same reason. The Halos/Travs made similar signings last year around the same time.
you're my hero rghan
i didn’t figure it would have any effect on the big league club, and afterwards i realized that petit and bourjos are both hurting now, so a little outfield depth in our minor league can’t hurt..
the only reason i was even posting this was because i saw majewski and thought it was talking about a reliever, gary majewski, and thought we were stockpiling our bullpen depth.. thank goodness i cross checked with baseballreference before posting.. lol..
