Lunch Thread: Daily Dish...
There is a GREAT new blog at SBN: MLB Daily DISH. Jim linked to them in his Roundup, but wow, I just was over there reading that story about KC maybe trading Jose Guillen, but then I perused the blog and saw four other stories, all pretty interesting: Eric Wedge might be getting fired, Washburn might get traded to the Dodgers, Sheffield wants to play for Tampa Bay to be close to home, Bronson Arroyo is on the trading block and Mark DeRosa is as well.
I don't see the Angels involved in any of these possible deals, but FOR LUNCH... what kind of dish do you eat off of daily?

They mentioned the Halos as a possibility for Arroyo
But the only way we’d want him is to have a bad mullet duo.
Angels fan since '67

tortilla baby!
who needs a dish?
I’d take washburn back in a second, always liked the dude. I know there was a ton of people that were more than happy to see him go.
Weaver, Saunders, Washburn, Lackey and Palmer for the time being would suit me just fine until Santana can get it together
Im with you on Wash.........
I like him…….even have him on my fantasy team

...hit the wrong button!
I was typing I don’t think so.
But…we attended the Chicago vs. Cleveland game yesterday. Even though DeRosa only played here 2 years, and even though he left as a free agent, he is VERY popular in Chicago. The chatter on local sports talk (WGN) is that the Cubs miss his leadership and clutch hitting.
I say I don’t think so because I don’t know where we would play him. We need relief pitching more than anything.
I'm probably being a total douche right now
but for the record, the real definition of peruse is basically the opposite of the way you used it: it means to examine with great care and thoroughness (dictionary.com definition).
anyways, i don’t think we are going to (or need to) get any of these guys.
light up the halo
For you, it would be that assemblage of food that you consume about 6 hours after waking up.
What most of us call “dinner”.
