In my family
it’s at least 30+ years per generation. My great great grandfather was born in 1796, I was born in 1950. Using that model, it would only take me 16 to 17 generations to to get to Wallace, if I were related to him. I was going to say 18 but then I remembered he said his “great uncle”. That’s two extra generations right there.
