Me being a copy-editing dickhead, must correct you Rev … dinero is money in Spanish (part. Mexican Spanish). The Brazilian currency is the real, and the street slang in Rio for “dough” is grana. … I’ve got a Brazilian friend here in north London who told me that, his name is Andres Miranda and he speaks with a full-on Cockney accent. Very strange.

Just remember grana, as in: “I got lots of grana, baby” next time you meet a hot Brazilian chick, fellas.
