With the firing of Clay Daniels, in charge of international scouting, the Angels are going to keep it even more mellow this July.
From ESPN.com "This July 2 period is a pretty quiet time for the Angels this year," Angels scouting director Eddie Bane wrote in an e-mail. "I would think that next year we will be back in the hunt for July 2 types, but in 2009 it will be a little quiet. We are still in the hunt on some of the guys, but we will not be involved in mass this season."
Lastly, the Halos are trying to sign Ervin Santana's brother GianCarlos. As we all know that Santana is looking for some band members to keep the jam going.
