Comparing Site Traffic Between halosheaven.com and angelswin.com
siteanalytics.com conveniently allows you to compare site traffic between up to three websites at a time. The product is this sexy graph that compares site traffic between my two selected sites, halosheaven.com and angelswin.com. The point of this was to try to uncover some factual information about the amount of site traffic angelswin.com receives (but does not disclose on their website) and see how it compares to Halos Heaven. Siteanalytics did it all for me.
Mouse over the dates along the bottom of the graph for a total number of unique visitors per month for each site. Click on the Unique Visitors box for a menu of other statistics such as rank, page views, and other information. Halos Heaven ranks #118,460 and angelswin ranks #407,997.

That'll only happen if that one prospect is the second coming of Christ and redemption for mankind can only be achieved by smacking many balls out of the yard.

Alexa Never Counts Mac Users
With all the artsy types here (sorry about the stereotype mac users) I would trust the site analytics numbers even though this community blows away the other one on both scales.
dont marry the bank teller
It was the cREVier commercial that got me.
LMAO @ the guy who won’t wear Halos gear in an opposing stadium out of respect for the other team…LOL. Now that is some punk ass shit!

That's pretty cool
More importantly, I did a comparison with the OC Register’s blogs:
Unique visitors-
Halos Heaven – 14,368
OC Register – 11,715
angelswin – 3,291
Most interesting...
is that 28,000+ people are interested in reading about the Angels via the internet!
3 places for fans to congregate = we all win!
I love this team.
Also HalosHeaven has a bigger wang.

In all fairness...
If you go to that stat site and look at visits, HH is about 12,000 behind AW (over the past year). It looks like HH gets a lot of people checking out the site to read the articles, while AW has the same visitors checking in repeatedly.
Which seems to verify my thoughts; HH is an Angels news site that a lot of people check out for information and to discuss their thoughts, and AW is more of an Angels fan hang out spot (and I mean that in a good way).
Two very different sites.
I dunno...
I don’t think a news site would spend so much time bashing announcers and other sites. I’ve been a lurker here for a long time. I also lurk at angelswin.com. They seem to be a bit classier over there.
I will take the numbers and the impassioned discussion
that the “bashing” delivers. Seeing as it is less than 5% of our content, looks to me like you haven’t lurked all that much.
stay off the Ca1LFORN1ANGELS posts and i dont think theres much bashing

What?
* i feel sorry for the man who doesn’t drink because when he gets up in the morning that’s as good as he’ll feel all day, (Halos Heaven)
vs
* how to download facebook contacts 2009, (Angels Win)
Let's do this for Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart, and Henry Pearson.
Forget unique visitors
What I really want to know is what is the average lexile count of a HH post as compared to that of a AW user?
I sure hope California Angels doesn't drag us down too much
I hate outliers.

Wouldn't CA drag us UP, seeing as his/her posts generally defy all ability to comprehend them?
We don't have a Bullpen. We have a Cowpen. Before we get to call it a Bullpen these guys gotta grow a pair.
Tastes great! Less Filling!

SB Nation
How much of this traffic is due to the affilation with the SB Nation? It would seem that a reasonable amount of unique hits can be attributed to this association. Where as stand alone sites dont get this ‘benefit’.
How many members does each site have?
Members
Since those numbers are internally-generated, either site could lie.
When poeple want to read about the Angels they are going to go to site they read and trust regardless of that affiliation – and while we may have had the inside track regarding exposure, the growth patterns indicated by the graphs linked above reveal that people return to this site as it leads the discussion and most clearly presents coverage of the team.
Not sure, but remember...
We get traffic from both Yahoo! and Google.
(Google is how I found this site).
Angels fan since '67
