I'm not sure this has been covered already.
I thought this was great:
bq. Over the past two months, the Suzukis, with the help of Orlando and Katie Cabrera, have hosted a number of fundraisers to assist their good friend Wilhite, who is currently undergoing speech, physical, and occupational therapy as an outpatient at a rehabilitation center in Southern California. All funds raised through the Suzuki’s fundraising efforts will help pay for Wilhite’s rehabilitation costs.
I have nothing important to say.

Good on Suzuki and OC
My respect for Suzuki (except when we play the A’s) has gone sky-high.
OC has always been class.

As a CSUF student
I’ve always disliked Suzuki a little less anyways!
I have nothing important to say.

Ditto
He was one of the heroes of the CSUF World Championship team in my last summer as a student at CSUF, so I find it impossible to root against him. This only cements that.
Let's do this for Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart, and Henry Pearson.

I probably should have quoted this above
Additional monetary donations can be made to the Wilhite Recovery Fund, account 3980643658, at any Wells Fargo Bank branch, or to a tax deductible account set up through Manhattan Beach Little League by mailing a check to: Manhattan Beach Little League, P.O. Box 3512, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266, with “Wilhite Recovery Fund” on the memo line.

Fantastic.
We need to swing a trade…3 way trade…send Mathis and Matthews somewhere, and acquire Suzuki.
Keep healing up Jon.
In Remembrance of Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart, Henry Pearson. Heal soon Jon Wilhite.
I want Andrew Thomas Gallo to be a pinata, and the Angels supply the bats...

THANK GOD for FOX
Fox Saturday game assures us all om missing Phyzz’s call of the first pitch ceremonies. When he prattles about the Adenhart tragedy it is as if he is reciting names from a phone book it is so robotic and insensitive, his golden voice feigning sorrow as i is coated in a plastic fakeness.

I don't mind Phyz at all,
but I’m getting really tired of hearing about it from the idiot announcers on Fox and ESPN when they announce a game. The way they bring it up seems contrived, almost like “Oh, and by the way, have you heard about the Nick Adenhart Tragedy? etc.”. I am starting to feel like it’s OUR tragedy, and that they shouldn’t bring it up.
And I know that’s totally irrational.
I’m still annoyed about the “Angels have had a fun start to the season” comment at the ASG.
Yeah, real fun.

I think this is a pretty classy move by the A's
I’ll be sitting behind home plate in my Angels hat for this one. Keep an eye out for me!

$215 a ticket...
yikes, you’ve sold plenty more stash to cover those duckets. (I was shopping for tickets for Saturday via stubhub and decided against the 12 hours round trip of driving).
I love this team.

I'm trying to get tickets for Saturday too
But no driving for me, a 40 minute flight to the Bay, and i’ll be back home in time to not laugh at Saturday Night Live.

40 mintues?
Where are you flying from, because it’s just about an hour from Ontario, Orange County, or LAX.

I've flown from LAX, Ontario and OC
And its not 40, more like 50-55 into Oakland. My bad.

Yeah, we made trip from Oakland to Ontario a lot when we lived near Oakland, and
I wondered. Southwest used to advertise it at just over an hour, but the trip was always about 55 minutes each way.
