I’m teaching summer school…. 4 1/2 hours of geometry with the same kids each day…..

almost all my kids are passing
first time doing summer school and I’m amazed at how well they are doing.
If they had the same effort during the regular school year there would never be summer school
also they are concentrating just one one subject
with ZERO time to forget things before a test. What we might cover in 3 weeks during the regular year, or even longer if there is a break, we cover in TWO days.

i think about that while I’m at Cal State Long Beach this summer.
If only I studied harder, oh well. Only one more week to go

I don't know if Time Warner and Cox are still not showing all home Angels games
but today I told Verizon that I’m moving and my FIOS needs to come with me. And they said if I renewed my contract for 1 year they’d send me a Compaq netbook for just the cost of shipping and handling and that my internet is going to go from 20/5 to 25/15.
Highly recommend them if they are available in your area and I’m not an employee or anything.
