My 5-year-old loves mocking Gerald Laird’s MLB photo. He started doing his impersonation last year since GL poses the same way every year. Take a look:

Last year’s edition had a bit more eye-bugging goodness to it.

need to find last years… I’m sure it’s out there. these are always fun to mock (especially the goofy ones of opposing players) when they come up on the scoreboard. Laird definitely looks like a guy who’s been practicing his “team photo” face a bit too much.

I remember around 3 years ago GA’s mug shot, his eyes were these little slits which barely registered, and he had this creepy Mona Lisa-esque grin on his face. it was just perfect. these guys I was sitting behind over in section 409 were convinced it was the “I just farted” face. I couldn’t really make a case for anything else. it was true.

that’s practically bumping uglies… practically. was AK suggesting they swordfight after the game? I’m sure it’s a photographic anomoly, but pretty weird in stop-motion.

still, not as weird/shameful as AK’s clown pants. not a good look for anyone, but especially for a shorter (white) guy of pretty slight build.

when did he exactly go to those? it certainly wasn’t with the Angels. note how they appear like garbage bags next to 2 guys who are known as wearing some of the baggier pants in Anaheim — Nap and Santana. so clearly, they’re just enormous.
