someone here needs to 'fess up

i don't think i saw this mentioned on the game threads from last night but if someone did, please forgive me for starting a useless fanpost.  ANYWAY, driving home and listening to the radio broadcast around the 6th or 7th innning (i don't recall) it was Terry and Rex on the mic.  Terry informed Rex that a fan had e-mailed in a nickname suggestion for Erick Aybar....he told Rex "they say you should call him 'Admiral.'"  Rex laughed and asked "why 'admiral'?"  Terry said nothing but i was hoping he'd explain "it's a trap!" or something like that.

so which HHer sent in the Admiral nickname suggestion????  this is the only place that name originated right?

06 vs. 07

yeswecan VS cupie is like HALOS HEAVEN’s own McCartney VS Lennon drama (I hope you know who got the dig from me out of this comment).

Feh.

I visited the official team site for a few minutes and was quickly overwhelmed by the quantity of mediocrity, not to mention teh stoopid.

THIS… IS… ANAHEIM!!

I know that some girl from angelswin is tight with Hud...

When I was at the series in Minneapolis I was chattin’ it up with Phyz during BP and asking him when Hud would be around. Sure enough, as soon as he showed up on the field, some girl ran down and started yuppin’ it up with him for a good ten minutes. I asked her how she knew Hud so well and she told me that he always plugs angelswin.com for her when he’s in the Twin Cities because her cousin or some relative runs the site. I then told her I am a member of HH and she had little more to say to me.

My point is: we need to get Hud on board with HalosHeaven. I can’t do much from North Dakota, but I hope to be in the cities again when the Angels come to the Dome. I will make it a point to beat that girl down to the field and get Hud’s attention…

RIP NA

Hud's cool

A little yippy dog begging for attention is going to get patted on the head, told she is nice and leashed where she cannot do any harm. Then there is the stud pit bull who never drools and begs for your attention and on whom you can depend to defend the entire junkyard. One of these two eventually gets the steak. That is my tale of two blogs.

my tale of two blogs

1 is run by a guy who will travel to oakland wearing full angel paraphernalia (i’m certain I sat in front of you at the division clincher in 2005)

1 is run by a guy who is a mariners fan

I heard it too.

I wanted to call up just to make sure HH got its props!

…but I was too lazy.

I have nothing important to say.

Well...

I am not the culprit. But I was listening to the pre-game Wednesday and they read emails and the such. A listener emailed the pre-game show and said that is what his nickname should be. So it wasn’t like someone snatched it from us. One of us gifted it, to the announce team.

I’m guilty of referring to Kendry and K-Mo and Kowbell on the Sports Lodge with Rodger Lodge.

Dave Smith

Hopefully he was shipped off. Rodger Lodge needs to be next. The real question is why is the best prize they can give out is Fast and Furious DVDs. Is it possible that KLAA isn’t allowed to give out Angels tickets?

Boycott Boston!

Biggsy does it all the time.

You just can’t ask for them, he has to offer them.

The Sports Lodge gives away Angels tix all the time!

They’ve been giving dozens away for ’80s night in particular.

According to LARadio.com

Dave Smith was let go for budgetary reasons.
