NOO! KOTCHMAN IS OFFICIALLY in BOSTON!
Perhaps this wouldn't hurt so bad if the Angels had won the WS with Texiera. Perhaps it wouldn't hurt so much if Texeira was still on our team and not one of our biggest rivals. Perhaps it wouldn't hurt so much if Kotchman didnt turn out to be such a great player.
But my fellow Halo fans, the absolute most hurtful thing happened today. Our very Casey Kotchman is now play for Boston. The team that has continuously beat us in the playoffs. The team that all of us are most worried about. The team that we are most likely to come october.
Vent your anger, grief, and apathy right here!

It's alright, son
Let me tell you about this guy named Kendry Morales. See, once upon a time, in a faraway land called Cuba…

Next time we play Boston,, Phys won't be able to control himself with Kochman/Tex sloppy stories.
Mike Napoli speaks softly and carries a big stick.
rec'd.
Who cares about Kotch and his 6 homeruns and .133 post-season batting average. Have fun in Beantown, jerk.

Great player?
I like him too, seems like a good kid, but come on. Morales his a much better player than Kotchman.
Yeah, but
he was so damn likeable, and now I have to hate him.
What will CKoD do?

That what I've been wondering since I heard the news
can’t wait to read the rampage he goes on, should be entertaining

I'm not happy about this either
because I almost always pull for ex-Angels to do well (except against us) and here I won’t. I like Casey, but honestly, I like Jason Bay and Big Juicy too. Now, I’m in the position of rooting that they all suck. Suck really bad for as long as they put that disgusting uniform on and I hope that LaRoche rocks and roll and makes Theo the small look really really bad. Kotchman? So sad, too bad, I hope he bats under .200 with no dingers.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
I have learned to love me some Kendry. And I agree with most that we win on the 1B matchup.
But I smell the aroma of Carney Landsford…
We don't have a Bullpen. We have a Cowpen. Before we get to call it a Bullpen these guys gotta grow a pair.
Trading Kotchman was win win
We got a better player in Teixera for a half season and it freed up an everyday spot for Morales (who has proved to be a superior player). Remember, the Red Sox have Kotchman as a backup first baseman.
Going to be hard to root for Casey now he’s donning a “B”. Bummer. I hope he does well except against the Angels.
I love this team.
i love how three teams in contention and needed a push...
acquired three ex-angels. players we passed on or we were more more comfortable w/in-house replacements. washburn-to the tigers, cabrera- to the twins and kotchman-to the redsox.

sucks
kotch was one of my fav players (still wear his jersey to games). he’s still a GG caliber 1st baseman and i believe he can still be above avg. offensively. I won’t boo him when he plays the halos, i’ll just cheer the pitcher he’s facing a lil more :) . he could actually thrive in bahstin with the short porch in RF. he killed the sox during the 08 season before we traded him if i remember right

Angels Vs. Braves in the World Series
Hahahahahahhahahahahahaha!
Seriously doubt it though, but Hahahahahahahaha
When I'm not at the stadium, I'd rather be watching my Halos back in Costa Rica!

We have K-Mo.
Kotchman is dead to me.

unfortunately
I’m going to have to boo him, as long as it says Boston on his chest
Let's go Howie...
Yeah, but
I don’t think he had a choice in it.

well as they say
Baseball is a business, and I’m in the business of booing every Red Sox, Yankees, or Dodger player that walks onto our field

The main reason I can't hate the A's this year, or anymore
Also was that they had O-Cab, but that that’s no longer the case…maybe that they have Kennedy, too, but, um, yeah, no, not feeling it for Kennedy this time around. But yes, Suzuki = the man.

not this year
A’s are just too bad to boo without feeling somewhat guilty.
Although, I do think back to Tim Salmon’s final game – (the game ended with Tim in the on-deck circle, A’s with a comfy margin and the division already locked up and what do they do? do they walk the batter to let Salmon get one final at bat for the home crowd? nope.) – and I hate the A’s again.
Least favorite teams(4way tie): Red Sox, Yankees, Dodgers, A’s
Let's go Howie...
What the hell is the issue here?
K-Mo is an absolute beast, and on his worst day, is better than Kotch ever was.
Yeah, I liked Casey, as a person. But I also like Justin Speier.
Get off this guys nuts and just wish him luck.
