PERCY gets his truck back
Belated Happy Birthday to Troy Percival who turned 40 on Sunday. Today the Riverside Police took time off of "losing" drug evidence from their lockers and actualy solved a crime. Of course, it was a watchful citizen (and Angels fan) who solved it for them.
From the RIVERSIDE PRESS ENTERPRISE:
Almost six months after the 1956 Ford F-100 was stolen from Percival's Woodcrest home, 90 percent of it was found Sunday in Mead Valley, said Sgt. Scott Brown of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. The truck when it was in one piece was valued at $100,000.
A shady auto parts dealer was selling pieces on the internet. Recall that the police initially wanted to hold sites like ebay liable for auctions of stolen goods. and now they can spend their time with allegedly juiced radar guns lining their wallets because you and i can solve thier crimes.
Happy Birthday Percy.

100G sounds high for that truck.
60-75 is probably more like it, although things suddenly always become more valuable when stolen.
Hey la, hey, Halo...
