OCR: Spiezio Flying High!

Youngman takes a look at Scott Spiezio in a "where is he now" article. He is playing for the OC Flyers, actually.

As the hero of Game 6 in the 2002 World Series, Spiezio will always be one of my favorite Angels. After a fall from baseball due to his personal issues last year, he is making somewhat of a comeback by playing for the Orange County Flyers.

I haven't been to a Flyers game yet this year.

I got an email from them two days ago with the info that Spiezio is playing for them, and I think that might be the motivation we needed.

Since I use tags...

you can see several stories about Scott Spiezio along the right side in “related fanposts.” Not sure if that is the same news you heard about Spiezio. If not, let us know.

As for the title of my fanshot … he plays for the Flyers and so I chose the title based on playing for a team that seemingly is about FLYING. Since people here generally ignore fanshots, I had to think of a snappy title to attract their mouse click.

I love this team.
