In my mind, I see it unfolding ...
the Angels face the Dodgers in the 09 World Series.
The series is tied, 3-3. Nick’s father, Jim, is brought out to throw out the first pitch, the team dedicates the game to him, Nick, Henry, Courtney and Jon.
Jeff Weaver leads the Angels to a complete game 1-0 win, with the Angels winning with Aybar putting down a perfectly executed squeeze in the bottom of the ninth.
Weaver gets Jim Adenhart from the stands, and leads him out to the mound, and the team carries him on their shoulders.
We’re doing it this year for Nick.

Well, Jeff is a Dodger
so maybe someone else starts the game for the Dodgers, and a battle rages through until the 9th, when the Angels win on a walk-off error by Jeff, when he throws a squeeze by Aybar into the backstop, allowing someone to score from third.
So, there you have it…he leads the Angels to a 1-0 win.
With Jered on the mound for the Angels.
