Adenhart Memorial Photos
I was in the neighborhood today, so I decided to stop by the stadium to check out the Adenhart memorial. Of course, I forgot my camera, but I did manage to bring along one of them mobile communication machines that are so popular with the kiddies these days, and it just so happens to be conveniently equipped with a memory-capturing device. I think they came out pretty decent considering the 3.2 megapixel capabilities and the fact that I couldn't see the screen in the sunlight. It really is something that needs to be seen first hand and up close. It's a bit overwhelming. Makes me proud of our fans, and equally as proud to be one.
I'm not sure how long they're planning on leaving it up, or what they're planning on doing with it later on, but like I said, if you are able to check it out in person, it's really worth it.

Great pics!
I agree, the memorial is beautiful and a great representation of how important the players are to the community of fans. I hope they find something great to do with the memorial, I’ve seen it and walked by it many times on my way to games and it’d be a shame not to see something special done with it. Definitely a must see for those who have not yet been. Thanks for the pics!

looks like a nice guy
R.I.P.
WE WILL WIN WITH WHAT WE GOT.
R.I.P. Nick Adenhart, Marquis Cooper, Steve McNair, and Frank Grimes, or Grimey, as he liked to be called

Thanks for the post & pics
I just asked if it was still up the other day and I’m thankful it is. The goal will be not to tear up too much, I heard they added him to the calling all angels intro which is tough enough to get through lol. I think they should in-case the memorial items similar to the world series stuff. Are they letting people add stuff still? I think I’ll leave a ball sayin “Hey Rookie, You Were Good, RIP!”
I believe you can leave whatever you want...
There’s nobody standing around it. I saw a few people come out of the team store and drop off some stuff. Another guy took off his hat and threw it on the pile as I walked up.
Apologies in advance.
Great pics...
Im still a little shocked about this happening when I think hard about it. I remember turning off the television after that game being bummed they lost but so excited to see Nick grow as a premium pitcher throughout the year.
Such a tragedy….RIP.

Hate to say it but.....
If Fuentes doesn’t blow the game then maybe hes still alive. The game would of been over sooner and therefore he wouldn’t been in that place at that time. But its hard to live life that way and ultimately it was the drunk idiot who killed him thats 100% responsible.
No go there
If you had been at the game you would have bumped somoene who would have got in their car ten seconds later who would have blocked them from leaving for another minute.
Knock it off.
I wasn't going to do this...
But I’m an English teacher on summer break, and I have to correct somebody because that’s what I do.
The game would of been over sooner
It’s would HAVE, not would OF. Again, I apologize, but what does that even mean? Haven’t you ever thought how strange that looks when you type it?
Apologies in advance.
I don’t write formally on blogs, twitter, facebook, etc. Are you that bored? Need to get yourself a girl mate.
It's a pet peeve of mine as well.
Especially because then people start saying it out loud. Anyway, no need to become aggressive about it, Red114 wasn’t.
Let's do this for Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart, and Henry Pearson.
Well I tried to be polite about it...
But I can assure you one thing: I find it quite easy to balance women AND proper grammar. That’s just how I roll, mate.
Apologies in advance.
The proper grammar is actually the method to secure the babes.
I love this team.

Good news: A VP at my company writes “would of” all the time.
I love this team.

It's just when people write
“Would’ve”

I can’t believe we are still discussing this. One things for sure I’ll never use “would of” again. Good god!
God should be capitalized.
;)
I love this team.

"Things" should actually have an apostrophe
And it couldn’t hurt to insert a comma after “sure”
We are the Los Angeles Angels of the late 2000s
Excellent!
My work is done. Now I don’t feel as bad for complaining. You’ll be a better man because of it.
Now go forth, and use the knowledge you have gained here to properly construct bizarre ideas about Brian Fuentes’ role in the Adenhart tragedy.
We’ll work on the apostrophe lesson later… ;-)
Apologies in advance.
It was just a thought from someone looking outside in. I didn’t know he did a laundry list of things after the game. I was thinking he went from the game to the bar.
This blog has more smart-asses...

Better than a herd of dumb-asses, wouldn’t you say?

Dude, c'mon...
I’m only breaking balls. You’re gonna need a MUCH thicker skin to hang out on this blog. But now that I know how sensitive you are, I’ll be sure to handle your comments with kid gloves.

This.
Apologies in advance.
Apparently this kind of thinking really messed with Arredondo
who also had a bad outing that game.
That stuff can eat you alive.

Nick didn't go into the locker room after the game, shower, and take off.
He had some dinner, spoke with his father and his agent, dropped his friend off at their hotel, met up with some other friends and hung out, then left just after midnight to go to In Cahoots. I don’t think that the outcome of the game had any affect on Nick’s schedule that night.
Let's do this for Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart, and Henry Pearson.
Still remember that feeling I had in my stomach when I heard.............
probably will always remember it……..
I felt worse about this with Nick then we my own father passed away.
How sick is that?

nit sck at all
you got a relationship and time with your father and he was older and had lived life, Nick’s had just begun.
If anyone is planning to go to the OC Fair...
Check out the crafts exhibit in one of the halls. Someone has created a mini Nick Adenhart memorial as an art piece, it is well done.
Let's do this for Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart, and Henry Pearson.
Darn

You still have three days! Hurry, hurry!
Let's do this for Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart, and Henry Pearson.
Well.....
Saying shut up isn’t much of a opinion but fair enough. I understand its a sensitive subject so I will bow out. I feel just as bad as everyone else.
ya i was following that game on Gameday and couldn't believe it
they game back with 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th all with 2 outs for a 3-2 wins… also i am pretty sure it was Darren O’Day who gave up the runs
Go Halos

Thanks for posting these Red114
I’m in NJ and I just moved, so ther is no extra money to make a trip out to see a game this year. I hope to make it out there next year to the stadium.
I have seen the Angels play in several stadiums, but have not seen them play at home.
We're putting the band back togehter.
LOL!
You are getting the hang of it, now! BTW, are you wearing a pink Halos cap in that photo? Or is it just the angle of the sun light?
I love this team.

Hahahaha!
No way. Billhune is a vet around here. He gets the benefit of the doubt. But way to be on alert! You might just make it after all.
Apologies in advance.
My 7 year old seemed very interested
in it the first time he saw it. When I explained what it was, I could tell that he was moved by it. He keeps asking if he can leave one of his hats.
Lamest poster of all-time.
