Vlad in Lineup Tonight
CHICAGO
Vladimir Guerrero is in the lineup for tonight’s game against the Chicago White Sox, his first since straining a muscle behind his left knee on July 7.
No word yet on who moves on the roster to make room for his activation from the DL.

Oh Shite why can't they slot him 6 or 7?
There goes all our mojo, Secretly I was hoping he wouldn’t come back. I don’t understand how Soth just throws him in at 4 without a rehab assignment or anything.

I agree.
Is The Soth afraid he might insult Vlad be batting him 7th? I don’t know what kind of hitter Vlad will be after the latest injury. Last year Vlad was .303/.365/.521. This year he’s .290/.319/.415. I really, really hope Vlad has something left. The 452 foot monster shot HR he hit just days before the injury was very promising sign.

I was hoping Vlad would be put in the 7 spot... let him get acclimated
but Scioscia knows best. He must have been watching Vlad’s BP sessions. Have any of us? Just asking.
I love this team.

Vladdy still has it....
Dont be talkin shit, when Vladdy goes deep tonight. How can you give up on him that easy, since he has been the face of the franchise for years. He has to be a better addition to the line up then reggie willtis, sean rodriquez and sarge jr. Really Think about it!

Thinking about it...
Sean Rodriguez homerun in the second inning of a game in Minnesota + great defensive ability and can play multiple positions, Gary Matthews Jr. starting to heat up with some good clutch hits RISP, Mike Napoli obvious production at DH and comfortable in that position. Shall I go on?

Thought About it...
K , Understandable but atleast bat him below Napoli. having a bat of his caliber cant hurt. I’m not saying bat him 3rd or anything, just get him in the lineup.

Agree that Vlad is a better addition than those mentioned...
however, none of those mentioned are batting in the #4 spot. They are in the bottom of the lineup, where “we fans” believe Vladdy should be slotted.
I love this team.

not liking this move at all
bat Vlad 7th until he gets his swing/timing back (if he does). and if his play warrants it, move him up in a few weeks. no sense in shuffling the middle of the order when they’re KILLING the ball right now.
Thank you, Nick Adenhart. You will always be remembered. #34
