It always takes Vlad a long while to get going. Tonight will not be the only night the offense is affected. I am not saying Vlad is a bad baseball player but his track record after injury shows that he will not be ready for quite a while.

The fact is that tonight he wasn't the one hurting us.
This offense scored one run against minnesota and 3 against oakland. It is not impossible to shut it down for one night. If Vlad starts grounding into DP after DP, killing rally after rally, then you can look to it.
But tonight? Dude wasn’t the problem, end of story.
