Just browsing over there for the post game tonight, and I saw this in their fanshot section. No reason to give political commentary on the matter...rather, I think it's just a perfect microcosm of the general douchery over there.

with just really strong disagreement from a dissenting few.

The No Politics rule is a good one for baseball blogs
At the end of the day the blog manager/owner can decide the code of conduct, but a “No Politics” rule is a good one. There is nothing like politics that causes some people to become raving lunatics. It takes away from baseball talk.

I agree with you completely. Stick with baseball and keep it at that. It’s not as if there aren’t enough arguments anyways. However, it was fairly entertaining when Rev did open a thread up to politics and people went at it.

That it allowed us all to see our differences, and, through that, to really appreciate the community we have here, where we can put that all aside and just root for some baseball!
