The "Batting Stance Guy" Sucks
http://www.youtube.com/user/BattingStances
Has anyone ever become famous (with the obvious exception of Heidi and Spencer) for doing less? I'm sorry, but it needs to be said. Any baseball fan who grew up with the knowledge of how to hold a bat can do what this guy does (and possibly better). He over exaggerates hitters swings, runs like a drunk and collects a check. Now, he has received a job from Fox Sports and will be on the Kansas City telecast. Remember when you had to be either a journalist or ex player to offer your two cents via telecast?
Can't we do something about this?

the GA one
was probably the worst. I watched it a 2nd and then 3rd time before feeling completely lost – “that was GA?!”
the funny thing was, the first time I saw this guy was the one where he did Spezio and I liked it and thought, hey, nice, that was kinda accurate. then I saw GA and realized, this guy’s just some no-talent who apparently has naked pictures of Hudler, Phys, or some Fox exec.

The 21st Century
The era of being famous for being famous; no talent required. A pop culture that has never been more vacuous or insipid.

Thank you.
The “Batting stance guy” sucks! How the hell this man, if you want to call him a man, whose mother probably kicked him out of her basement, and forcing him to move in with his grandmother, became famous is beyond me!!! Just another sign that the Hilton’s and Kardashian’s of the world will be our downfall.
YOU DON'T KNOW THE POWER OF THE DARKSIDE.....
Has anyone become famous for less?
Yeah, Jon and Kate or whoever the fuck from that reality show.
But he does suck.

Monica Lewinsky? The Octomom?
We as a people and country have definitely set the bar very, very low. These are the same people that are skank, sux and cowboy and patriot ( no offense Stirrups) and raider fans.
YOU DON'T KNOW THE POWER OF THE DARKSIDE.....
Did you *have* to say that?
Now we’re going to get more pix of her from 44Fan.

BSG outlived and overextended his schtick loooong ago.
His first youtube vid was funny and damned good for the first 4 minutes. everything past that has been tired. Turn the page.
We don't have a Bullpen. We have a Cowpen. Before we get to call it a Bullpen these guys gotta grow a pair.
Personally I don't have much of a problem with BSG
a lot of his impersonations do nothing for me but I’ve also found myself chuckling or busting up over some of them.
Also I think is Salmon stance is pretty dang good. His GA needs a major overhaul. I also like his Joyner
yeah it's ...

i have no problem with the guy
how many of us wouldn’t love to make money from a stupid thing that you and your friends do to entertain yourselves?
milk it for all it’s worth, BSG.

Complete shit and he needs to die in a house fire, immediately.

he's actually pretty good and funny...
when he does a collection of different guys. if you saw his letterman appearance or the original youtube clips, they were great. the problem is how these current pieces are produced.
I agree
I like BSG.
You guys are all so bitter over such an innocuous thing.
We are the Los Angeles Angels of the late 2000s
Innocuous is the perfect word.
Geez fellas.
BSG is a commedian for entertainment purposes.
He did what he does before anybody else did so he is famous. Like most young commedians he is funny as a novelty first time around but grows old and wears thin quickly.
Hey la, hey, Halo...
This is a pretty amazing post, on many levels.

Whatever, you all are probably just miffed cause you didn't get picked as 'Fielding stance guy'.
he’s got a great gig, maybe you don’t like his act, but it doesn’t help to whine.

Probably not
We’re all too busy going to school, working real jobs, raising families and not butchering hitters swings.

There are probably other baseball fans off the street who can mimic players' stances better
What BSG has going for him is he yuks it up and there is a ‘caricature’ quality to his impressions.
Or is Kendry perhaps the one who needs to sit?
