Rangers 3B Michael Young blows a tire
The only Texas regular batting over .275 came up lame running out a ground ball in the second game of a double header with Toronto earlier today. The preliminary diagnosis is a strained left hamstring, a notoriously unpredictable injury which could put him out of commission anywhere from one week to the rest of the season. Pending an MRI tomorrow, this could be a serious blow to the Rangers' hopes of overtaking the Angels in September.

damn
for fantasy reasons…
As an Angel fan, its hard to root for another team’s injury. I hope he experiences little pain and a comfortable stint in rehab.
4.5 games up with a month left to go....
yes… i dunno where all this “we have locked up the division” talk is coming from

Bad for him, good for us.
I never wish harm on anyone, but this might have its perks here down the stretch. Let’s just hope it doesn’t happen to one of our boys.
This season is my best chance to get called out of the stands to pitch.
Too bad...
never want to win because the other guy has a rash of injuries.
RIP Nick...

games still need to be played
Hamilton was out a long while as well and they did decent. i still think we win this division by 5 or 6 games….that trend has been consistent for a long time now.
Might need to start winning games first before talking about that
However I like our chances against Hernandez and the 4-game against the Royals.
The Big Red Machine V.2 is coming this Fall 2009. Go Halos!
Then they should'nt allow MY to chase cars anymore
if he is going to hurt himself.
Hey la, hey, Halo...
He'll be out two weeks
per the Dallas Morning News. I doubt they’ll bother using the DL.
Witty .sig goes here.
