Rangers' Fiscal Trouble Deepens, Selig Calling The Shots?
Baseball Time In Arlington pieces together a series of events that, taken separately might not be meaningful, but in light of the team's proposed sale, might indicate the league is running things behind the scenes, something Tom Hicks denied earlier today. Lowballing the team's first-round draft pick, Matt Purke, is probably the most compelling thing on this list.

i love a good conspiracy theory
but really i am rooting for the Rangers to take the WC form Team Toilet Chowd.
If we swept the chowds and propelled Texas in that would be great.
Play Wood already. Willits sucks.
My only fear about the Rangers is...
What if they get a pretty good new owner who knows what he’s doing? Then the Rangers might start actually being a threat in the years to come.
I actually like their current ownership. Nothing but bad decisions after bad decisions. This is just a year where they got lucky because Seattle is still weak and Oakland is nothing.
W6G!
If by "lucky", you mean
“fixed their starting rotation problems”, then, yes, they’ve been “lucky”.
Witty .sig goes here.
I hope Josh Lewin's services
Can no longer be afforded.
YOU DON'T KNOW THE POWER OF THE DARKSIDE.....
