2010 MLB Schedule Released
The Angels are playing in Wrigley June 18 - June 20. I have never been to Wrigley so I am really going to to try to go this series. Here is a link. I am too lazy to click through all the 3 game groupings.

Full Schedule
has been released. I need to get out to Anaheim for a game or 2. I am going to try and find a weekend in July and August so I can visit Petco and that that other stadium in LA. It looks like t he weekend after the All Star game might work if I stay over on Monday to see the Dodgers.
We're putting the band back togehter.
We Don't Play the Rangers
until May 17, by then we have had 2 series Vs. OAK (both in Anaheim) and one in Seattle.
Evens out this year
Where we played 6 here and 3 in Fenway (starting tonight!)
We Will Win With What We've Got
We'll have to revisit this in May
I am pretty sure I am going Fri and Sat
Play Wood already. Willits sucks.
Already booked in St. Louis
I was in STL in 2002 when the Angels were still a curiousity (and when Jack Buck died), and again in 2007. It’s a great place for baseball. Booked at the Hilton across from the stadium, great pre- and post-game parties there. Might even hit up Chicago beforehand to catch the boys against the White Sox.

We have an 11 game road trip going through KC, Seattle and Oakland from 5/31 through 6/10 which is our longest of the year.
We're putting the band back togehter.

Interleague is a beast
At St. Louis, at Chicago, home against Colorado, home against Milwaukee, and then the usual vs. the Dodgers.
Hardest interleague schedule ever? Except for Milwaukee, which is a barely under .500 team, all of those are good to great teams. Those teams are a combined 72 games over .500 this year, a combined winning percentage of about .550. That’s rough.
I feel the need, the need...for speed!
winning percentage this year
is no guarantee of winning percentage next year.
All those clubs could go thru big changes between now and then.
Technically they could,
But technically the sun could explode tomorrow as well.
St. Louis, Chicago and L.A. all have fairly good track records of spending a decent amount of money to put a good product on the field. Other than the Cardinals possibly losing Holliday, who are those teams losing that will make them worse? Likewise, Colorado, while not a big spender, has its nucleus in place and will be returning most of its core next season. The only one which stands to possibly do a major overhaul is Milwaukee who could be looking at dealing Prince Fielder.
No San Diego, no Arizona, no Pittsburgh, no Cincinnati, no Washington…there are no patsies on this slate. Chances are good that three out of these four teams will make the playoffs this year, and at least two out of the four next year. That’s brutal.
I feel the need, the need...for speed!
I heard some of this on the radio and
I think they said the Dodgers are playing Boston in interleague this year.
In other news, made the mistake of listening to Lodge this morning while Ken Rosenthal was on the show. He said he was hoping to spend a few days in Anaheim during the post season, emphasis on the word “few”.
THIS… IS… ANAHEIM!!
That sounds right
I saw something that said the Yankees were going to pay a visit to play Torre and the Dodgers
We're putting the band back togehter.
I might watch a couple of those games, Boston just to see Manny vs. his old team
and the Dodgers/Yankees just out of curiosity.
THIS… IS… ANAHEIM!!
that might have been on ESPN,

Spring Training...
So when is that schedule coming out? Unfortunately I won’t see the Cactus League, I will see the Grapefruit league. Thank goodness for a wedding in FL in March. (Plus it is 30 minutes from my other favorite team, the Phils)
Texas will be doing an even better job of avoiding Arlington heat in September 2010...
28 games that month, only 9 at home. One road trip early in the midwest and then to Toronto, and one road trip late that is all west coast. How nice.
We don't have a Bullpen. We have a Cowpen. Before we get to call it a Bullpen these guys gotta grow a pair.
