A++++++
I’m kind of surprised you don’t have a following outside of HH. These comics are original, funny, and well done. I have to believe even non-Angel fans would love these.
Keep up the good work!

We are probably glad that he doesn't.
Else the IP police of Columbia Pictures would have had this post taken down so fast WiHaloFan would be in a paramedic van even now, wearing a neck brace.

Parody is a perfectly legal use of copyrighted material.

Funny... I was thinking of tacking that very comment onto my post.

It is a legal use. But it is not a PERFECT legal use.
There are limits. Even if those limits do not apply here, Columbia could use the leverage of their massive legal resource to overwhelm WHF. Depends on how much of a dickwad they feel like being this year.
For example (I am not an attorney, and I am hoping that you are one, although I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once), since SBNation is a commercial enterprise and page visits are supported via ad space (whether or not any money is being made), an argument could be made that this space and this page are commercial enterprises. WHF is not making money for himself, but he is participating with SBN to make money for SBN. That could be a challenge point for the “Purpose and Character of Use” discussion. It would be a huge stretch, but it would cost WHF some legal $$$ to deal with.
On Discussion point #3, “Amount and Substantiality of the Portion Used of the Copyrighted Work”, WHF would get his clock cleaned. He probably would ultimately prevail, but that one might stick all the way into a courtroom.

parody for profit is just as protected as parody for the hell of it.
And the reason it is still “vague” is that the owners of “intellectual property” are all bark and no bite – they are terrified of a judge ruling against them and they have no intention of taking any parody case to court, where they have regularly had huge chunks of their “rights” taken away in the blink of a judge dotting the i in his decision.

I’ll just await my summons and let the attorney’s figure it all out for me.
I love this team.

Suggestion for a future one...
GMJ: War’s over, man. Selig dropped the big one.
Torii: Over? Did you say “over”? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
Soth: Germans?
Lackey: Forget it, he’s rolling.
Torii: And it ain’t over now. ‘Cause when the goin’ gets tough…
[thinks hard]
Torii: the tough get goin’! Who’s with me? Let’s go!
[runs out, alone; then returns]
Torii: What the f*** happened to the AngelsI used to know? Where’s the spirit? Where’s the guts, huh? This could be the greatest night of our lives, but you’re gonna let it be the worst. “Ooh, we’re afraid to go with you Torii, we might get in trouble.” Well just kiss my ass from now on! Not me! I’m not gonna take this. Selig, he’s a dead man! Beckett, dead! Pabelbon…
Soth: Dead! Torii’s right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody’s part.
Torii: We’re just the guys to do it.
GMJ: Let’s do it.
Torii: * Let’s do it *!

Recommended.
This was one of the best yet. Hell, there have been so many good ones, they are all the best.
Perfect combination of a highly dramatic scene with what happened the other night.
I love this team.
Haha! I'm a Redsox fan and I enjoyed that!

Brilliant as usual, WiHaloFan!
But it seems incongruent with your comment on PhiSlamma’s fanpost. Here, you suggest that crooked officiating stole the game from the Angels. There, you say the Angels lost the game on their own. These conclusions seem mutually exclusive.
But no matter. This one must have taken a long time to put together, getting just the right screen caps and all. And the whole concept of associating the movie incident and the Wednesday incident is quite creative. You have a gift for this.
He's writing for entertainment purposes here ...
and probably representing 80% of the fanbase by doing so.
