Jake Locker
I, myself, am not a USC fan, so this doesn't bother me too much. But still, not only is our 10th draft pick Jake Locker not playing for us, but the QB has lead Washington to upset a SoCal, and national football powerhouse USC. Go figure.

Had a fairly decent year so far.
I hope he stays with us…….but who knows

Pete Carroll summed it up best: "I think the difference in the game was Jake".
Found this on Jake’s WikipediA Page.
In the Huskies’ second game of the 2008 season against Brigham Young University, with the Huskies trailing 28—21, Locker scored a rushing touchdown with two seconds remaining to bring the score to 28—27. After tumbling into the end zone, Locker threw the ball up into the air and was assessed a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. This backed the point after touchdown kick, which was to tie the game and in all likelihood send it to overtime, from the 3 yard line to the 18 yard line. The kick was blocked and UW lost the game by that 28—27 margin. The call was seen as controversial, in that it followed the letter of the rule dictating that players who score a touchdown must hand the ball over to officials in an orderly fashion but some believe violated its spirit, because Locker’s act of throwing the ball was simply an emotional reaction to a big play and not an attempt to taunt his opponents or delay the game. Locker later apologized for incurring the penalty.9
BTW…No mention of the Angels’ on"Jake Locker ‘s" page. (Can’t that easily be updated….his page on SBN & Wikipedia ? (I’m obviously taking the GA approche on this)
SBN should be hot linked by now too.

Jake Locker is the best Qb in the Pac-10
Not exactly a strong year for qb’s in the pac-10, but still.

Prediction:
After Jake Locker retires from whatever sport he decides to play professionally, he will be given his own segment on a sports show and it will be predictably titled “The Jake Room”
We are the Los Angeles Angels of the late 2000s

I disagree
It will be called “the Jake Brake with Jake Locker”

Ugh not good news guys
I was listening to the Herd this morning and Colin said that one of the ESPN football guys said that Locker would be the #1 overall pick in the country when he decides to come out.
Even if he’s Top 10 it doesn’t sound then like he’d even consider playing baseball. A lot of money down the drain in that happens.

Thanks for the list
yea is shocked the crap out of me to hear that, but to even hear that ONE person thinks that highly of him has to mean that Jake feels that way and that he’ll probably try to make his pro career go as far as it can even if it means him being a backup for like 3 years until he gets a shot.
