never get excited about a Lefty hitting a flyball to Leftfield. I think you could count on one hand the number of players that have pulled off that feat in Anaheim.

who this game feels more like just a really exciting exhibition game?
I mean both teams are going to be in the playoffs. The aren’t playing in the first round. And I think we all know deep down, how you do against a team in the regular season doesn’t mean all that much once the playoffs start.
I’m loving the game…. it’s just not going to hurt that much if they lose.

the thing that makes that so lame
is that the Angels were doing just fine against Rivera until Soth tried to make something happen. Rivera doesn’t strike out much at all if left to his own devices and he was foulding off good pitches. Rivera makes a small mistake there and he’s going to take advantage of it.
