How cool is this?

For a friend's birthday in July, I bought two $85 tickets on the First Base line for the tomorrow's game with the Texas Rangers.  Back then he thought I was crazy because the Angels were sure to clinch by then - and the game would just be a tune-up for the playoffs.  Now it's the most important game of the regular season.

I'm a baseball genius!

Go Angels!  (But without Vlady as far as I care)

Good things!

Glad you get to be there—hopefully it’ll be a good one!

And Vlad’s not done yet…just wait for the awesomeness!

$85 for Diamond Club??? Are they behind a pole?

Just kidding, but that’s a great price. I paid $95 for a pair of seats right behind the Angels dugout for Thursday’s game, from angelsbaseball.com. A bit pricey, but we’ve sat there before and really like those seats.

THIS… IS… ANAHEIM!!

I saw two diamond club tickets for tonight's game on craigs for $75 for the PAIR

I missed out tho, as he sold them within the hour of posting.

I love this team.

Okay, okay ...

now get your hand out of your pants, and give yourself a pat on the back. Great that you get to go tomorrow. And Vlad is the man.

Hopefully you're close enough

to tell that f*ckface Ian Kinsler to “Get the f_c* off our field” after the W tonight.

BTW – Sorry about the double f-bomb Rev. If Kinsler had not done that earlier this season, it would not be an issue.

Downing joining the Angels HOF is a great start, but #5 shouold be retired by the Halos. Make it happen Arte!

OK - Vlad can play

I just needed those few words to make the minimum for a post – so I got a little frustration off my chest.

Looking forward to a good game – and being close enough to yell insults at Texas!.

oh and to let you know

Vlad is a Texas SLAYER
he’s gotten a hit against the Texas every game this year and is hitting .413 against them this year. (11 games)

I hope Vlad hits a screaming foulball in your eye!

Okay, not really but seriously? Vlad is a future HOF and will probably will be the first to enter the Hall with an Angels cap (fingers crossed). Furthermore, Vlad’s numbers have dropped but even as a tired, overweight, bad-knee Vlad, he still throws up better numbers than a very large majority of major leaguers.

Want to know how awesome I AM?

I bought tickets for Sunday through Thursday THE FIRST DAY TICKETS WENT ON SALE! Why? Because I anticipated that the division would be clinched this week. Am I amazing or what? :)

I love this team.

Great game!

Vlad proved me wrong, and that’s terrific.

My seats were right above the Texas dugout, and I used every opportunity to razz them. In particular, when Kinsler was put out in a double play, I ran down to the end of the aisle and got right up in his face as he came back to the dugout. They had extra security people posted to the dugout area, and one fan got kicked out for being overly crude and boisterous.

Best of all, my friend had a wonderful belated birthday.

Cool, man!

Glad they clinched for you guys! Perfect ending!

I love this team.
