You know
for all the talk about Texas giving us a run for our money, etc…this really wasn’t that close a race.
We’re going to clinch tonight with a 7 game lead in the division at the time of the clinch…and everyone else has been, or will be, clinching in the next few days. It was tense earlier in the month, but Texas flat-lined, and it’s really not been too close since.

I think, in comparison to last year
when we had a 21 game lead, and clinched in early september, it was considerably close… Texas didnt really fade until tanking a couple weeks ago..they could have made a series out of it if they didnt fold in texas.

I just realized the score of this game
throws into sharp relief the difference between the Angels and Dodgers. One comes down to clinching day, and gets blown out 1-11. The other comes in and has so far turned in an 11-0 game..

That was only to plead to the teacher to leave it as is. I missed a class last week, I was sick, so I had another prepared board and no sketch to transfer to it, so that one will get the mud-flap treatment. The one you saw the photo of will get a final touch-up and remain pretty much as you saw.

My brother had a similar thing in college, but worse, happen to him.
Winning 6-0, perfect game, 9th inning. Walked the first batter on a full count, very close call by the plate ump, could have gone either way. Coach pulled him. Said he was tired. The team ended up losing.
