Matt Palmer Wins 11th, Angels Win 94th
Final Score in Anaheim: Angels 5, Rangers 0
Pitcher Matt Palmer threw 5 innings of 1 hit ball and got his 11th win as the Angels again tuned up for the playoffs with more Salt Lake Bees than Angels on the field at the end of the contest.
5 Angel batters had a single RBI and 5 relievers combined to shut out a Texas team going through the motions. Darren Oliver threw an inning and struck out the side. While there is no guarantee that Palmer will even make the ALDS roster, he leads the team in Winning Percentage.
On the night Kendry Morales won the Team MVP award and Jered Weaver won the newly-minted Nick Adenhart award for the team's top pitcher of the season, the Angels scored their 866th run, tying the 1979 squad for most ever by an Angels team. They scored 851 in their championship 2002 season.

Just have to love that Texas came in needing a sweep...
…and are on the verge of getting swept. With our killer Bees getting substantial playing time.
Maybe Kinsler will keep his mouth shut next year.
But if he keeps his mouth shut they'll just fly flags like us, won't they?
;-D
RIP Nick Adenhart.

Is that like a Get Out of Jail Free card?
Either way, I likes it!

And can it be turned into a "Make It Out of the First Round" Card?

Run Support rides again.
Seriously, I really hope that Palmer is on the post season roster. Like Joe Saunders, he just seems very solid and imperturbable, like nothing EVER bothers him.

Damn!
I went to the game with dad. We didn’t make it into our seats until the third batter. And we would have had a good view, too. We caught tonight’s action all the way down in section 112. It really is a completely different experience being that close to the field; you really get a sense of how the action unfolds, and just how fast it all happens. It really helps one appreciate the skill level of a major leaguer.
Question:
Do any of you know where the rally is tomorrow? Is it inside the stadium on the field, or is it in the parking lot?
I've got nothing.
look at that pic above
the action was on the mound pregame tonight!
uh,,,,,, last year the rally was in the stadium….

Thanks..
I have tickets for the games tomorrow, and was hoping it was inside the stadium.
Who is that blonde mama? She could pitch for my team any day.
I've got nothing.

OHHH ....
that’s why there were like 10 smoking hot ladies (and I mean SMOKING HOT) on the terrace level concourse after the game posing for pictures with people … they must have been playmates. Holy smokes.
I love this team.

Let's give Q some love for that final out.
I was sitting in 109, and got a great view of his stop.

I was the loudmouth yelling at Kinsler to "Get the Heck off of our Field" every time he was up.

Panther: Palmer
Though I voted for Figgy.
And I feel good about the fact that we are no longer 3-9 against the Rangers. Win ’em when it counts.
Angel Pitching, Angel Defense - get past that.
Morales has lost a lot of weight...
and changed his number.

I have nothing important to say.
I'm a girl and even I was looking at her and wondering where she played softball.
I wonder how her pitch was, and if anyone noticed her pitching ability.
THIS… IS… ANAHEIM!!
