Everytime Napoli hits a pitch 450 feet
that Molina would have rolled over to the shortstop, only to get thrown out at first before he’d left the batter’s box, I forget we ever had another catcher.

He's a horrible hitter. The guys OBP is well under .300
We did a nice job of purging most of that kind of hitting from our lineup that last few years. Do we really want to go back to that?
Give him an extension
Yeah, his numbers were down, but like the article states, they love him for his work behind the plate. With a young team with more young guns on the way, a two year deal makes perfect sense.
It would be great to have him come back for a season before he retires…he still hits better than Mathis.
