Anyone hear about Eric Aybar's injury?
Erick Aybar left a game Thursday in the Dominican Republic after apparently straining a muscle in his left leg. Aybar was attempting to beat out a grounder when he pulled up lame. The Angels haven't been updated on his condition If Aybar isn't ready come spring training, do you play Wood at SS and Izturis at 3B or keep Wood at 3B and Izturis at SS?

I just read this on the LA Times website
I hope this isn’t anything big.
"Sometimes it looks bad and sometimes it doesn't, but I'm not going to stop swinging" - Vlad Guerrero
great point
didn’t think of that.

I blog about the Angels at The Diamond Aces
I hate winter ball
None of the players on the Angels’ MLB roster should be allowed to play winter ball. Juan Rivera broke his leg playing winter ball and it took over a year for him to recover. Enough is enough.
No more winter ball.
yeah Winter ball seems like it should be more of a minor league thing.
there are other ways for players to get into game playing shape
Bigger Question..
If the injury is serious, who leads-off for us??
The Smarter I get, the More I Have To Learn
Aybar will be in the lineup tonight, Angels say. So nothing to worry about.
Game's the same, just got more fierce.
Thanks for the update, Sam.
I was worried the Aybar situation was going to become “Juan Rivera Part II”.
