Yesterday was a joyous day for my wife and me as we finally got to bring home our first born. For those who do not recall, here is a link to previous posts about the trials we have been going through to start this little family. After being born at 2 lb 4 oz, almost 3 months premature, Melody has grown to 5 lb 5 oz in 9 weeks. All her test results were good: lungs, eyes, brain, ears...perfectly healthy. So, she was discharged yesterday, 3 1/2 weeks before her original due date. She is truly a miracle. Here is one of the first pictures we were able to take of her without any tubes in her mouth or nose. Not bad, eh? We give God all the glory, and thank all of you who have been praying for us and expressed your genuine concern. She has received a good amount of Angels gear which she should fit into just in for Spring Training!
