Jonathan Sanchez and the Giants take on Roy Oswalt and the Phillies.
Giants need to win today OR tomorrow to host Texas in the World Series on Wednesday night while the Phillies need to win today AND tomorrow to reach their third consecutive fall classic.

I didn’t know so many Angel fans supported the Giants. I’m a bit…..shocked? I know they’re not our rivals, but I always thought there was a NorCal vs. SoCal thing. I mean, I hate the Golden Bears (am a UCLA fan), hate the A’s, and dislike the Warriors. I’ll have to side with the Doyers on this one. Only 3 California baseball teams have won a world series in California to this date. I hope to keep it that way.

Hate the Doyers, like the Giants. Also, as Angel fans we should all hate Texas. As for UCLA/Cal, are you a UCLA student? Because I have never encountered major animosity between the two schools except for that one week that we play each other . . . I would have to say it is a pretty friendly rivalry . . . except for the fact that UCLA stole Cal’s fight song. As for $C and Stanfurd, they can go fuck themselves. Go Bears, Go Angels, Go (Anaheim) Ducks, and for this WS, Go Giants.

I am a UCLA student
A lot of my high school friends are Cal fans and we definitely do a lot of smack talking. And I actually traveled up to Berkeley a few weeks ago for the UCLA-Cal game and I most definitely got a lot of crap from Cal fans. I’m actually a junior, so seeing my university lose 3 consecutive years to big brother makes me pretty bitter.
We did steal Cal’s song. And we made it better :P

Btw, do we really have a rivalry with anybody? I’m actually apathetic toward the Dodgers (actually, dislike them quite a bit, but if they were in a WS, I’d prefer them winning just because they still represent LA. It’s like the Clippers and Lakers. I’m a Lakers fan, but I wouldn’t be unhappy if the Clippers won a championship). The only team I disliked in our division was the A’s. Again, can’t stand NorCal teams =\ plus my roommate/friend is an A’s fan and I always bag on the A’s and he despises the Angels.
I think this is pretty much the official Halos Heaven Rivalry Roster:
1. Boston Red Sox*
2. New York Yankees (MFY)
3. Los Angeles Dodgers
4. Texas Rangers
5. Oakland Athletics
6. Seattle Mariners (mostly because Mariners fans hate us far more than we hate them)
Peter Bourjos is faster than anyone on your team.
I actually wish the Angels-A's had more of a rivalry
like the Giants-Doyers . . . I hope when the A’s move to San Jose that rivalry will be reborn. Because of Oakland’s relatively small fan base it is hard to hate the non-existant fans. As for UCLA, after Cal plays them, I am pretty much on your side the rest of the season—I will definitely be rooting for you guys when you play $C just like I hope for the love of God that would would want Cal to beat Stanfurd.
