Secret to his fancy footwork on defense?
Ok guys...
We know how MLB teams are always weary of players staying in shape during the offseason by participating in winter ball due to the risk of injuries (read: Juan Rivera).
However, with the strong competition for a starting spot at 3rd base this off season, it seems there are creative alternatives. Footage out of Venezuela might show how Maicer Izturis was staying in shape and getting ready to compete with Wood. The resemblance is iffy. He might have grabbed a tan while on break...
It's hard to hear them converse while training so I tried my best to translate the very hard to hear audio.

Awwwwww 'cmon!
It was late and I was having fun. Could it really be any worse than half the stuff you read on the interwebz?
Really?
(and yes my eyesight isn’t the best but I swear I thought it was Maicer dancing at first)
HH is not the "interwebz".
We have standards. Loosely defined, arbitrary and ever-changing but standards nonetheless.
(Having said that, this video reminds me of a Seinfeld episode…and my wedding,)
Captain, there are doubt's...
BTW, since I don't want to start another thread...
…but for anyone listening to Lodge this morning, they did a bit on the best sound bites ever. I had to go so not sure what won, but I thought I heard most of them before…
…but somehow I never heard the Lasorda one on Bevacqua. Not sure how I missed it as it seems a classic, but as much as I HATE the Doyers and HATE Lasorda even more, I have to give him props for this one.
I’m probably the only one who hasn’t heard it but found the original clip uncensored on YouTube.

Kurt Bevacqua game-winning home run 1984 World Series Game 2 . . . .
. . . . . 5th inning one out off of Dan Petry. That 3-run home run was the last pitch thrown by Petry. He was replaced by Aurelio Lopez. That remains the only World Series game the San Diego Padres have ever won. No doubt Tommy Lasorda preferred Kurt Bevacqua’s 1984 WS Game 1 base-running gaffe. Leading off in the bottom of the seventh Bevacqua doubled into the right field corner. Bevacqua attempted to stretch it into a triple, stumbled rounding second base, and was thrown out at third base by Kirk Gibson. I was sitting in the 6th row of the field boxes near third base. On that play Bevacqua, third baseman Marty Castillo and Gibson’s throw were framed perfectly. In the middle of the ninth inning Cleveland Indians owner Gabe Paul (sitting in the row in front of me) got up, announced the game was over because the Tigers had Willie Hernandez in the bullpen and left to beat the traffic. The Tigs didn’t need Hernandez to close the game as Jack Morris proceeded to retire the last eight batters in a row. I doubt that Paul would have left early if his Indians were in the World Series. Kurt Bevacqua was hit by a pitch five times in his career. He was never hit more than once in a season.
Red Fog, you ARE in a FOG
two back to back post with very little substance. Sure, the video is funny but then again, you posted it and it has nothing to do with Mice Tits…
Should I post a video of my buddy eating it on his skateboard and call it Weaver’s offseason because my buddy happens to be blond and skinny like Jered?
C’mon, man…raise the bar…even if its cheesy comedy.
Halos & Clips...must have something to do with the color red and jaded pasts...

Looks like he was doing an aybar impression there for a bit.

Rest in peace, Rory. When I think of some of the greatest moments in my Angels fandom, I hear your voice describing them. Thanks for everything you gave us.
That clip ALWAYS makes me laugh
It’s so… AYBAR!

It would make me laugh too
Except I was at that game. And a few moments later I wished I had a sniper rifle aimed at our ex-closer.
